DRILLNOVA / CORE BARRELS
Bullet-tooth core barrels
The tooth, holder and retaining parts form the cutting set around the cutting ring. Specify that set with the barrel body, drive connection and method for breaking and recovering the rock core.

Choose the complete cutting set
A bullet-tooth core barrel forms an annular cut around the rock core. The installed tooth projection and holder positions establish the working cutting arrangement. A tooth reference alone does not define the finished tool.
| Supply scope | Define together |
|---|---|
| Complete barrel | Barrel size, drive connection, cutting-ring construction, cutting layout and core-recovery method. |
| Replacement cutting ring | Connection to retained steelwork, ring condition, holder openings and the installed cutting paths. |
| Teeth, holders or retainers | Tooth shank and holder seat, retention arrangement, wear condition and separate quantities for each part. |
B47 references are available within the bullet-tooth range. Confirm the selected tooth and holder drawing before substituting one reference for another; a similar name or diameter does not establish the same fit.

Position the holders against one reference
Use the selected assembly drawing to define the holder positions, spacing, tooth height, angular offset and projection. Number the positions so trial fitting, tack welding and remeasurement refer to the same parts.
Keep the target and actual readings together. Recheck the installed arrangement after welding and record any correction before the trial. For replacement work, inspect the retained holder seat and surrounding ring before fitting new teeth.
Account for the work between cutting runs
The Guangdong field review connects a B47K22 core barrel, two lifted-tool inspections and the crew’s response to packed cuttings. After clearing and reviewing the ground, the crew changed to direct bucket work.
This is a working-method decision, not proof of a universal tooth life or a quantified improvement. For your trial, record the formation, active cutting, lifting, clearing, tooth inspections and any change of tool separately.
Compare the other core-barrel configuration
For a roller-bit arrangement, review the cone positions, leg or mounting interface and installed cutting paths. Retained steelwork and the recovery sequence remain part of a conversion review.
